A summer in the Basque Country.

July-August, barefoot in the sand, the scent of wax and sunscreen, fingertips wrinkled from the salty water. Olatua carries the naïveté of adolescence, marked by the impatience for the next summer. It’s the feeling of those trapped in this wonderful place where others come on vacation but never stay. Olatua is a concentrate of suspended memories. The memories of a brief story, with no future but unforgettable. Those of a wave of overwhelming euphoria that recedes in September, as if nothing had ever existed. It sticks to the skin, its trail lingers. Yet, one must turn the page. Though innocence fades with the passing summers, Olatua allows one not to forget, to be reminded by the wave.

P.F. Candle Co. is an independent fragrance company from LA owned and operated by wife-and-husband team Kristen Pumphrey and Thomas Neuberger. They believe that fragrance should be an everyday luxury, and their mission is to make life smell better through high-end quality and affordable prices. Yearly, they donate a portion of their total net profits to local and national charities. The entire P.F collection is vegan, cruelty-free, and phthalate-free. All of their candles are made with 100% domestically-grown soy wax. While their production methods have improved over the years, something that hasn’t changed about P.F. products is the people behind them.

Francesco Ragazzi, the Italian photographer and art director, was in Venice Beach when he bumped into a vision: a blond guy with long hair on his deck in a skate park surrounded by the palms. Preppy style matches a seventies mood, making a new bold statement for Fall Winter 2015-16 season. Garments coming from the past find a daring path to contemporary.

Palm Angels is the brainchild of Italian photographer and Moncler art director Francesco Ragazzi, who began capturing images of Venice Beach skateboarders during one of his frequent trips to Los Angeles. The collected images would become Palm Angels, one of the definitive photography books on the LA skateboarding scene and the inspiration for Ragazzi’s latest project — a collection of skate-ready, West Coast-inspired clothing for Spring/Summer 2016.
