With the collection, Soulland celebrates the Peanuts comic strip’s 70th anniversary and focuses on some of Schulz’ hand-drawn vintage and classic artwork, assembled in a collage style.
“I love Charles Schulz’ work! The ability of the art to remain relevant across generations and age groups really amazes me!” Silas Adler, Co-founder & Creative Director at Soulland.
Adler continues, “Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the rest of the Peanuts gang are great characters for kids clothing and still hold relevance on the most luxurious garments. The focus of my work was to source exclusive materials like silk organza to create a grown-up and extravagant feeling, while still remaining humoristic and true to the Peanuts universe.“
The collection is now sold out!

Titled "Contemporary Still Life", the spring/summer 2015 collection from Azumi and David offers a selection of digitally printed everyday objects on luxurious materials such as silk. The inspiration for the collection came from the domestic beauty of the 16th and 17th century Dutch still life oil paintings. Azumi and David has linked past and contemporary life by creating a collection of silk dresses, scarves and bags with clear references to everyday items from back then combined with modern items. The prints mixes things like fruit, and flowers with takeaway coffee cups and smart phones. The combination of the old with the new in the prints, brings a sense of nostalgia while still looking forward and seeing how the world has evolved. All of this has resulted in a witty, innovative and aesthetically beautiful collection.

Inspired by a ballet dancer and a personal friend of the designer, Maria Kochetkova, the spring/summer 2015 collection from Paris-born Tokyo-based deisgner Julien David. With the collection, the designer wanted to create a feeling of movement in the clothes. The collection therefore offers a combination of textured dresses and skirts made in sweatshirt fabric and finely detailed tops and knits in eye-catching silhouettes and materials. The combination of grace, femininity and movement of a ballet dancer is beautifully referenced in this collection.

Azumi and David's "Layered Look" for Spring/Summer 2018 aims to dissect traditional gender image stereotypes and splice them black together referencing the current interest in the blurring boundaries of gender fluidity and politics of diversity, collaging and layering segmented found imagery of masculine and feminine bodies, clothing and accessories and projecting them onto wearable "poster" dresses, scarves, accessories and shopping bags, together with deconstructed garment segments, single sleeve neck shawls and belts, vintage scarf and bandanna wrapped and ties baseball capps, "cut n' paste" jeans component waist pouches, leather bags and pouches with mismatched colours, details and shoe heel sole features. Jewellery is constructed as dual layered, geometric compositions in Perspex. Tee-shirts and sweatshirts are hand screen-printed with symbols that refer to image appropriation and intellectual property ownership rights issues, prevalent in contemporary "cut n' paste" cultural practices.
