Old time friends Peter Simonsson, founder of white Briefs and Rasmus Storm joined forces to create the Storm shirt. A redefined granddad shirt, sporty, masculine and comfortable. The granddad shirt and its classic design, Rasmus’s favorite kind of shirt, was the main influencer for the design process during the collaboration. By adding well-made details, like the longer back side, the shirt is made for interesting layered looks with blazers or sweat shirts.
The Storm shirt is a homage to new classics and a 15-year-old friendship.

A good street photographer must possess many talents: an eye for detail, light, and composition; impeccable timing; a populist or humanitarian outlook; and a tireless ability to constantly shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot and never miss a moment. It is hard enough to find these qualities in trained photographers with the benefit of schooling and mentors and a community of fellow artists and aficionados supporting and rewarding their efforts. It is incredibly rare to find it in someone with no formal training and no network of peers. Yet Vivian Maier is all of these things, a professional nanny, who from the 1950s until the 1990s took over 100,000 photographs worldwide—from France to New York City, to Chicago and dozens of other countries—and yet showed the results to no one. The photos are amazing both for the breadth of the work and for the high quality of the humorous, moving, beautiful, and raw images of all facets of city life in America’s post-war golden age. It wasn’t until realtor and amateur historian John Maloof stumbled upon a box of anonymous negatives in a Chicago auction house in 2007 that any of her marvelous work saw the light of day. Presented here for the first time in print,Vivian Maier: Street Photographer collects the first wave of the best of her incredible body of work—much of which still hasn’t been enlarged or in some case even developed into negatives. Hidden treasures like this don’t come along every day, and powerHouse is excited and honored to present this astounding body of never-before-seen work to the public at large. Buy the book here.

Studio Scent celebrates the mess that makes us us: used books and vintage records piled up around the room; a cup of steeped black tea next to last night’s glass of wine; dusty tchotchkes on the oaken spice shelf; mary jane; palo santo smoke hovering over a vase of wilting lavender; allure coming from the bedroom; two soft figs in a bowl of oranges.
A sensual chypre, Studio Scent is structured around rich Turkish fig while blending bergamot with black tea notes, lavender with amberwood, and palo santo with oak moss. Warm and moody, this is an evocative home fragrance inviting bohemian spirits to the space in which we live and work.

A StyleLikeU Production, Directed by Magdalena Wosinska Starring Scout Larue Willis
As I slammed the door to the way of life I had become conditioned to after twenty years of inundation and repression in the form of my childhood home I let out the most primal of screams. And with this scream the most sudden release of the maddening mantras of an upbringing I had yet to face the horrors of. Clad in leathers, silks, turquoise, and blue jeans I set off before first light, seeking a truth as painful as it was freeing. I will yank that rotted tooth of deceit from the roots and god willing I will throw it into fiery seas, with this sacrifice will my long burdened heart remain disquieted?
